From school and design work to entrepreneurship, brand ownership, and North America leadership.
Education
London Business School · 2002–2006
During university, I studied not only fashion design, but also brand operations, marketing management, and business strategy. My graduation project, Urban Rhythm, was selected for the London Youth Design Exhibition, which was the first time I truly realized that design can do more than express the self—it can influence the world.
- Second Prize, London International Student Fashion Design Competition
- Outstanding Exchange Student, London College of Fashion
- Best Graduation Design Award
- Outstanding Team Award, Student Entrepreneurship Challenge

Career
Topshop
2006–2007
After graduating, I joined the renowned British fashion brand Topshop, starting as a design intern.
I assisted with apparel design, trend research, seasonal collection development, fabric selection, and silhouette design.
This stage gave me my first real experience inside the fashion industry and helped me understand the trade-off between stability and creative freedom in large companies.
Rosa Fashion Design
2007–2009
In 2007, I started a company with my university classmate Rosa. We visited clients by day and revised design proposals late into the night.
In the early stage, we faced constant pressure from limited capital, limited resources, limited experience, and a highly competitive market.
The most devastating blow came when our designs were stolen internally. Without enough legal experience or proper confidentiality agreements, the company eventually closed in 2009.
Fred Perry
2009–Present
In 2009, I returned to the fashion industry and joined Fred Perry.
In 2012, I became Chief Designer. In 2015, I acquired shares and became a shareholder. In 2020, I began overseeing North American business.
Today, as one of Fred Perry's North America partners, I contribute to the brand's growth across more than 100 international markets.
